An MCP gives your assistant a way to request information from connected software. Your assistant can request relevant records from the system your team uses, so you can work from that connection instead of preparing an export.
02
Go beyond the obvious connection.
Some products have no MCP. Others expose only a small part of what their software can do. We look at the provider’s API, preserve documented capabilities and make the gaps clear.
03
Keep a say in what happens.
Choose the connection and the access you grant. Start with read-only use, understand the available tools and add supported actions when the workflow has been checked.
Model Context Protocol is a way for AI assistants to work with tools and information outside a chat. An MCP connector translates between your assistant and the business software you authorise.
Will it work with my AI assistant?+
Client support depends on your assistant, plan and connection method. Claude Desktop and web connection flows have been checked, along with Codex and Claude Code authentication and discovery. ChatGPT acceptance is still pending. See the client guide.
Can it change things in my software?+
Some documented operations read information; others make changes. Access is scoped to the connection and the permissions you grant. Start with read-only access. Provider business workflows still need live validation before you rely on them.
What if my software isn’t listed?+
Send us a connector request. Tell us the software and the job you want help with. We’ll assess the API, access requirements and practical limits before committing to a build.
Good software. A real team behind it.
Built and supported by Jiffi. Choose your own connection, or let us help with setup. MCP access is included for clients under contract with Jiffi.
